Metal powder for laser-based powder bed fusion

m4p™ Ti64 Grade 23 is a Ti6Al4V ELI alloy, suitable for additive manufacturing of components using the powder bed process with a laser beam. Compared to m4p™ Ti64 Grade 5, this grade is particularly limited in the maximum permissible oxygen and iron contents, enhancing its properties.

The material offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and higher fracture toughness compared to other light metal alloys. Combined with its high corrosion resistance, m4p™ Ti64 Grade 23 is ideal for demanding applications, particularly in aerospace and medical fields, where its biocompatibility is a significant advantage.
