Arcam EBM Spectra L

The Spectra L offers the largest build volume of our Arcam EBM machines, allowing enhanced capacity to produce large, high-integrity parts, faster than ever before. The Spectra L allows for mass production of parts by offering unique EBM feature to tightly stack parts without compromising on quality.

The Spectra L machine offers increased productivity & reduces cost per part by up to 20%*. Due to an increased beam power to 4.5 kW & enhancements in beam control, the build speed is increased by up to 30%*, compared to previous Arcam EBM machines.

The Spectra L allows for mass production of parts by offering unique EBM feature to tightly stack parts without compromising on quality. Electron Beam Melting technology provides you with design freedom & allows you to build free-floating parts in sintered powder. Any supports are primarily used for heat equalization & are easily removed when build is finished.

Spectra L's improved melt process results in enhanced surface finish & consistent material properties for thin & bulky geometries. This provides freedom to design parts without limiting your imagination. In addition, Spectra L offers largest build volume of our EBM machines, allowing enhanced capacity to produce high-integrity parts, larger & faster than ever before.

Increased Productivity

Increased productivity reduces cost per parts, thanks to increased build speed and the largest build volume to tightly stack parts.

Excellent Part Quality

Excellent part quality, with improved surface finish and improved material properties for thin wall geometries.

Integrated System Architecture, With Standardized IoT Interface

Integrated system architecture, with standardized IoT interface, data analytics for machine health monitoring and our new Powder Recovery Station, PRS 30.

The aerospace industry is one of the main markets for 3D Printing or Additive Manufacturing. This sector has a long history of early adopters, manufacturers find their needs being fulfilled. Environmental performance restrictions, competitive market conditions and high manufacturing cost are just some of the challenges that aerospace faces today.

Batch Manufacturing in Aerospace

Hot Process - No residual stress,No heat treatment. Excellent Material Properties - Controlled microstructure, Better than cast, Compliant with applicable standards. Cost-Efficient Production - High productivity, Material recycling, Competitive powder cost.
