Principle

The vapor deposition technology in the field of surface coating of parts is applied to post-processing. Special chemical reagents are used to adhere to the surface of the printed part after vaporization. The surface tension is used to level the uneven surfaces on the surface and inside of the printed part, achieving smooth processing inside and outside the part.

Effect
Leveling the concave and convex particles on the surface of 3D printed parts greatly improves the surface smoothness, while also improving the parts’ performance in terms of toughness, color rendering ability, air tightness, hydrophobicity, etc., with almost no effect on product precision.
Safety
The equipment uses a powerful filtering and recovery device to ensure that the gas discharged after treatment meets national environmental protection requirements, and there is no residue of reagents on the surface of parts, ensuring the safety of the post-processing process and post-processing parts

Treatment Effect
Smooth Surface
Surface roughness is one of the biggest defects of SLS/MJF printing. After chemical fumigation, the surface roughness is reduced from 14μm to 2μm, almost reaching the injection molding level.
Improved Toughness
The original printed parts were brittle and easy to break. After chemical fumigation, the toughness was greatly improved, greatly improving the performance of the printed parts.
Easy to Color
The original print was unevenly dyed and difficult to color. After chemical fumigation, this phenomenon is basically eliminated, which can meet the aesthetic needs of end consumers.
Easy to Clean Powder
The original print had a lot of powder on the surface and could not be cleaned. After chemical fumigation, the surface powder was cleaned.
Improve Hydrophobicity and Airtightness
It can improve the fluidity of the liquid on the surface of the printed parts, making the parts easier to clean. Make the prints available for use on sealing parts.
Preserve Precision
Compared with the traditional method of immersing the printed part in chemical reagents, it has little impact on the accuracy of the printed part.
Improve the Performance of Old Powder
The adhesion of old powder will decrease as the number of prints increases, but after the prints are processed by CP120, the difference between old powder and new powder is greatly reduced.
Environmental Safety
Compared with the traditional method of immersing printed parts in chemical reagents, the reagents discharged by this equipment are non-toxic and harmless. Perfect reagent recovery measures are adopted to ensure that the reagents will not leak.
